Every person deserves to be in control of the aged care services they receive. The aged care system is a complex and fast changing system which can sometimes be difficult for clients to navigate. At KNC we have a team of social workers in both clinical care partner and advocacy roles to assist clients in advocating for their right to make informed decisions about their care.

As part of KNC’s free advocacy service social workers can guide individuals and their families through making the first phone call to My Aged Care, organising an assessment, or making choices about continuing care.

It is totally commitment free, meaning there is no pressure to become a client of KNC after using our advocacy service.

KNC social workers can assist clients in liaising with allied health professionals, medical staff, care workers and connect clients with important support so they can reach their health, wellness and life goals.
