Short Term Restorative Care (STRC)

The Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) program offered at KNC is designed to help older adults regain independence and improve their daily function after experiencing a decline in their health or mobility. 

How STRC can help you

This goal-oriented, early intervention program provides up to eight weeks of tailored, multidisciplinary support, focusing on restoration rather than ongoing care to help individuals stay independent at home.

✔These services provide access to healthcare professionals like physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses who work closely to develop a customised care plan.

Services provided

✔ Services may include strength and balance exercises, providing assistive equipment, home modifications, and dietary guidance amongst many other services, all aimed at restoring confidence and functional ability.
