By September 2019, the Australian Government’s Carer Gateway will be the primary point of entry for all carers. This means that Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centres and the Emergency Respite Support Service will be redirected to the Carer Gateway.

The carer program offering will also see a number of online and digital resources and supports whereby funding for current and new services will be through the Carer Gateway or NDIS.
