Peter Lenehan 

Peter who has worked as a Senior Auditor at Peat Marwick Mitchell, Financial Director and Managing Director of European Optical and OPSM. He has held a number of different positions on Management Committees and Boards such as Vice President, President, Chair of Finance and Deputy Chairman. During his time at KNC he has held the position of President and is currently Chairman.  He is married to Trish and they have a family of four children and 9 grandchildren. His interests are golf, travel and rugby union.

Frances Forrest 

Frances has been associated with KNC for many years. She has been part of the Management Committee and Board since 2008 serving as President, vice-President, secretary and is currently Deputy Chairman. She is also one of the coordinators for the mahjong group and also assists in many administrative duties.  Frances has a keen interest in the ethos of KNC to help the elderly stay in their own homes and providing social interaction for members of the local community.

Paul Locke 

Paul Locke was a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse for 14 years; then Group Controller with William Adams and following takeovers and spin-outs by BHP, retired as Company Secretary of Arrium (formerly OneSteel).  Paul spent 20 years as Treasurer of Georgian House aged care facility until it merged with Wesley Gardens. He currently serves as a Director and Company Secretary.

Isabel Lewis

Isabel has been a KNC volunteer in various roles for over 20 years. A member of the Management Committee and Board for much of that time, including the position of President for 5 years, she believes strongly in the changing role of KNC in our community.  A former English Conversation Class Coordinator she is now one of the Coordinators of the Yarning Group.

Noshir Irani 

Noshir was a Senior Marketing Executive for over 15 years with multi-national pharmaceutical company, Boots of UK. He was also the Managing Director of Rola Chem (Australia) Pty Ltd. from 1998 – 2006. Noshir has been on the Management Committee and a Director of KNC since 2018 and has been associated with Ku-ring-gai and Hornsby Meals- On- Wheels for over 10 years. He was also the President of the Indo-Australian Cultural Association and Australian Zoroastrian Association of NSW.

Dinshaw H. Katrak 

Dinshaw has 40 year history with the GEC Group and its successor company, Alstom. He was group Financial Director – New Zealand and Australia from 1974 to 2005. Dinshaw was Chairman of ITX Group Limited, an ASX listed company, until it was acquired in 2011 by a US based IT company. He was also the Chairman of IPD Group Limited from 2005 until 2016. Dinshaw plays golf at the Avondale Golf Club, where he was on the Board for four years until 2010, and was the Club’s Treasurer for 3 years.

Michele Bell

Michele is a registered physio who worked developing functional exercise falls prevention and hydrotherapy programs in NSW1 to promote wellness and reablement. Michele Bell was actively involved in the development of these programs for public and private health services, built and directed services, managed development of public and private hospital hydrotherapy and water based and land based programs for over 28 years.

Consultant to Department of Veteran Affairs and Motor Accident Authority for many years Michele is also a certified workplace trainer Currently Advisor to Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Dementia Alliance and Current guest Lecturer for UNSW Social Work faculty on ‘Culture Identity & Diversity – Pathways to accessing services’. Michele is also Guest presenter at NSW1 PHN forums, OPAN member and Executive member of Interagency Forum Sydney North. Michele is passionate about Advocacy and clear service information through the KNC Carer Connection program.

Jan Kirkland 

Jan became a volunteer with KNC after retiring from the NSW Dept. of Education as an Assistant Principal and choir teacher / Performing Arts Co ordinator in various schools in Sydney throughout her career. At KNC Jan initially assisted with the English Conversation class before becoming a Reception/Information Desk volunteer and working as a tutor and coordinator of the Mah Jong social group. She is an active member of the Board having been a team leader and past Vice President of the Management Committee.  Jan enjoys the congeniality and caring attitude of the staff and volunteers of KNC who work to make such a difference to members of our community.
